We design and develop Monoclonal antibodies

Using our effective immunization techniques, proprietary hybridoma cloning and propagation process, we generate new hybridoma cell lines. Except for our internal goals, we develop antibodies for new targets within the objectives of the European FP7-HEALTH SYBILLA projects (T-cell Systems Biology Activation in Health and Disease) and NANOFOL (folate-based nanobiodevices) for integrated diagnostic / therapy guidance chronic inflammatory diseases).

We manufacture Monoclonal antibodies

Opening of 2,200 m2. new installation EXBIO Research and Technology Center (built with the support of European Regional Development Fund under the auspices of the Czech Ministry of Industry POTENTIAL), significantly expanded our manufacturing capabilities, including up-stream processes in large-scale bioreactors designed to perfusion cell culture in serum-free medium (single batch of antibodies up to 10 g), purification steps (low endotoxin antibodies) or antibody conjugation procedures. We can adapt to the increasing demands of contract antibody manufacturing services.

We sell Monoclonal antibodies

Established in 1998, we have become a reliable and trustworthy supplier for all major Antibody vendors As we focus primarily on OEM contracts, our flow cytometry antibodies are widely recognized reagents listed in the catalogues of most reagents suppliers worldwide. In addition to OEM supplies, we distribute our products all over the world under the EXBIO trademark through experienced local distributors.

We care about quality

Our company has been evaluated and certified that meets the requirements ISO 901: 2000 and ISO 13485: 2003 (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Certificate).

Our product portfolio

  • Flow Cytometry Assays (FlowEx® Kits)

for a comprehensive analysis of patient status (BasoFlowEx® for allergies, FagoFlowEx® for phagocytosis, SpermFlow Kit for humans semen quality) and others by apoptosis and endocytosis.

  • Monoclonal antibodies

for other applications (functional in vivo studies, immunohistochemistry, Western transfer, immunoprecipitation).

  • Flow cytometry validated antibodies

for a wide range of research applications (human and rodent immunology, cancer inquiry) available in many colours and formulations.

  • Premixed Antibody Conjugate Cocktails

for in vitro diagnostic applications (CE IVD) (immunophenotyping of white blood cells).

Allergic hypersensitivity test by flow cytometry

The BasoFlowEx® Kit allows the determination of the causing allergen by basophil activation analysis using the flow cytometry method. The principle of the test is in vitro induction activation of basophils in the presence of a sensitizing allergen, followed by basophil activation marker measurement (CD63) on the cell surface, where it is detected by a monochrome- final antibody.

Basophils are identified by a CD203c-specific antibody. A sample is used as a positive control, in which the Basophils are activated by monoclonal anti-IgE antibodies, which mimics the stimulating effect of the specific antigen, and therefore a chemotactic peptide N-formyl-Met-Leu-Phe (fMLP), which activates basophils non-specifically.
